Children
LFN Kids Ministry is designed to help every child discover who God is, how much He cares for them, and what it means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives. Through engaging lessons, worship, hands‑on activities, and meaningful relationships, kids experience a safe and joyful environment where faith can take root and flourish.
We want every child to know that God’s love is real, trustworthy, and for them. Whether your child is in the nursery, preschool, or elementary years, our team is committed to creating spaces where kids can grow spiritually, build friendships, and discover their place in God’s big story.
Together, we’re helping the next generation learn to know God, love others, and make a difference in the world.
Youth
LFN Youth Ministry is a place where students can ask honest questions, explore Scripture, and discover who God created them to be. Under the leadership of Barb Alexander, our teens experience a welcoming, Christ‑centered community that encourages them to grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and learn how to follow Jesus in the real world.
Through weekly gatherings, Bible study, worship, and shared experiences, students are invited to deepen their relationship with God and live out their faith with courage and authenticity. We invest in our youth because they are the future of our church. Whether a student is brand‑new to faith or already growing in their walk with Christ, our desire is to walk alongside them as they navigate life, discover their identity in Jesus, and step confidently into the purpose God has for them.
Discipleship
Discipleship is a lifelong journey. One that is best walked in community. Our Discipleship Ministries provide spaces where adults can study Scripture, pray together, ask honest questions, and encourage one another as we learn to follow Jesus in everyday life. Whether you’re new to faith or have walked with Christ for years, these groups offer a place to grow deeper, build meaningful relationships, and experience the transforming work of God’s Spirit.
We offer both women’s and men’s small groups, each designed to foster connection, accountability, and spiritual growth. These groups meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM at LFN, creating a weekly rhythm of learning, fellowship, and support.
No matter your background or season of life, there’s a place for you to belong, be encouraged, and take your next step in becoming more like Christ.
Ruth Newby Food Pantry
The Ruth Newby Food Pantry is an outreach ministry of Lebanon First Church of the Nazarene, serving with compassion and dignity in the spirit of Christ. We exist to embody the heart of Christ through practical compassion. Inspired by Ruth’s legacy of faithfulness and care, our pantry provides nutritious food, encouragement, and dignity to individuals and families in our community. Whether someone is facing a temporary setback or a long‑term challenge, we believe no one should walk that road alone. Every bag of groceries is offered with love, prayer, and the hope that Lebanon and the surrounding area will know they are seen, valued, and never forgotten.
The pantry is open every Saturday 12–2pm. Walk-ins are welcome. Anyone needing assistance may also contact the food pantry at (317) 995-8044 or reach out to the church directly.
We are grateful for the generous support of local churches, individuals, and community partners—including contributions from the Postal Service Food Drive and Love Inc of Boone County. The pantry accepts food donations throughout the year, and these gifts allow us to continue meeting real needs in our city.
You can support this ministry through food donations, financial gifts (marked “Food Pantry”), or by volunteering to help with stocking, organizing, and distribution. Above all, we ask for your prayers—that God would use this ministry to share His love and hope with those who need it most.
